Vintage Large Lidded Asian Pot
Stunning Asian lidded pot, presented on a white glazed ceramic, the hand painted scene depicts a warrior in flowing ceremonial robe on each side of the pot. Dividing the center is a band of blue blooming flowers. The lid depicts the upper portion of the picture, and matches to the bottom, providing an entire scene. The inside of the pot is white glaze without design. This is a hefty pot, weighing over 6 pounds! The very colorful vessel looks gorgeous on a bookshelf, or credenza on display!

5" tall without lid, 8" tall with lid
Weighs 6 pounds 3 ounces
Very nice condition, no breaks or cracks to the ceramic. Minor paint loss to a few lines on warrior face, one noted tiny flake of red paint missing along lid that scuffed into clay- see photo, some mottling that occured during painting of bowl. Inside lid has written symbols in ink along inside rim. Inside pot has area where glaze didn't cover stoneware. No maker marks. Minor surface dust.
