Lovely Chinoiserie table lamp, presented in a deep, oxblood, red, vibrant, royal blue, and gold. The lamp has a unique shape with flared and squared sides that narrow at the base and at the neck. It rests upon an Ebony stained, Ming, influenced bass, and is capped with a burnished brass lid. Scenes of birds and cherry blossom, branches flank, each side of the lamp, and panels with a gently scrolling edge. Around the scenes of the bird is a deep ox blood red with gold scrolling floral patterns. The colors are rich and vibrant, and bring a bit of an exotic and masculine appeal to this lamp.
