Fabulous old bronze, metal vessel, depicting, animals, and panels around the side. The style is very James Mont in appeal. Two handles on the side with fines. Running down the corners of the vessel, the piece is finished with a lid with a triangular knob, a top the lid. A piece has an overall Verda greed or tarnish vibe, it is black in color with green verdigris or oxidation in the design of the piece. We believe that this would date to the mid 20th century or early 20th century and would be a reproduction from an ancient vessel, as designs and symbols have been reused throughout Chinese history This is a fabulous piece for display and is a work of art on its own
12.75 inches tall by 7 inches wide by 5 1/2 inches deep.
This is a nice condition, it does have some surface oxidation, and appears to be handmade. It may have some imperfections from the hand making that may give it slight variations in the sides. It appears to have held ash or dirt on the inside at one time and may have been used as a temple vessel.
