Very pretty Asian vase measuring 9.75 inches tall, it has a nice visual impact. Presented in a deep chocolate brown it depicts two birds flying around the stocks and leaves of a bamboo plant. On the back, two Chinese symbols appear vertically. The decoration has been carved into the clay vase, giving it a nice texture, and also revealing the creamy white of the clay below. The brown glaze has a smooth matte finish, the inside is a glossy creamy white glaze. So it should hold water if you were to use it as a vase. Pretty piece along a mantel or bookshelf!
