We love the crisp white of this blanc de chine compote. Across the front and the texture of the ceramic is the side profile of a crane, arching neck, and its long beak, its feathers splayed out behind it. It sits upon a short pedestal that has two thin, rich, royal blue lines around it. It is elevated just enough that it could hold a couple of lemons, a few fruits, or just to display.
8 inches in diameter, one and a half inches tall
Very nice condition. No chips, no cracks. There is a signature inscribed on the underneath in Asian symbols.
